Yet, little has been done to genuinely consult the people, especially those made most vulnerable because of these changes. Instead, the public is faced with heightened mobilization of security forces, threats of draconian draft laws that criminalise democratic action and deliberate misinterpretation of laws to prevent any form of protest. We are gravely concerned with the path in which the country is headed; one in which democracy, civic engagement, and basic economic and political rights are ignored as being irrelevant and inconsequential. FUTA has always considered its role as one of working with other movements to safeguard and buttress our democratic system. FUTA demands that the Government ensure that any far-reaching changes in policy are initiated after obtaining a clear mandate from the people of the country.

රාජ්‍ය ආරක්ෂක අමාත්‍යාංශයේ කොතෙකුත් වරලත් ගණකාධිකාරිවරුන් සිටියද ගිණුම්කරණය පිළිබඳ අබ මල් රේණුවක තරම්වත් දැනුමක් නොමැති මේජර් නදීරා විජේසිංහ දීඝවාපි චෛත්‍ය ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ ගිණුම බාර නිළධාරිනි ලෙස පත්කළ එක ගලෙන් කිරිල්ලිටයි ගිණුමටයි දෙකටම ගසා ඇති බව දන්නෝ දනිති.

මන්ද මානසිකත්වයෙන් පෙලෙන මෙම උමතු රෝගියා විසින් සිදුකරන ලද ළමා අපචාර සම්බන්ධව එම ජාත්‍යන්තර පාසලේ දෙමාපියන් විසින් මිරිහාන ළමා හා කාන්තා කාර්යාංශයෙ WCIB11 96/80 යටතේ සිදුකරන ලද පැමිණිල්ලකට අනුව බී වාර්තා අංක B3219/18 යටතේ නුගේගොඩ මහේස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණයට කරුණු දැක්වීමෙන් අනතුරුව එම පරීක්ෂණ යට ගැසීමට මිරිහාන පොලිස් ස්ථානයට අනුයුක්තව සේවය කළ ගුණරත්නගේ සහෝදරයා වන පොලිස් අධිකාරි අමිත් ගුණරත්න සමත් විය.

ජාත්‍යන්තර පාසලක ප්‍රමාද පාසල් ගාස්තු බලහත්කාරයෙන් එකතු කරපු දඩබ්බර , හිතුවක්කාර අයුරින්ම ත්‍රිවිධ හමුදාපතිවරුන් විශේෂයෙන් යුධ හමුදාපති හට බලපෑම් එල්ල කරමින් දෙනු ලබන ගොන් ආතල් ජනාධිපතිගේ මැදිහත් වීමෙන් හෝ දැන්වත් නතර කළ යුත්තේ දූෂණය තම භූමිකාව කරගත් මෙවැනි උන්මත්තකයකු හට ත්‍රිවිධ හමුදා අභිමානයේ කන්‍යාවිය තවත් එක් ගැහැනියක් පමණක් බැවිනි.
රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ සේනාධිනායකයා ලෙස දැන්වත් කඩුව අතට ගෙන මොහුගේ ලේකම් පට්ටම ගලවා එකී නොකී දූෂණ සියල්ල නවතා දමා එකිනෙක දූෂණය සැබැදිව ස්වාධීන පරීක්ෂණ අපරාධ පරීක්ෂණ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව නීති විරෝධී වත්කම් හා විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාශය අල්ලස් හෝ දූෂණ කොමිසම විගණකාධිපති දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව යටතේ සිදුකර නන්දිකඩාල් බොරුවෙන් හෙළුව වසා ගත් ගුණරත්නගේ සැබෑ නිරුවත සැමට හෙළි කිරීමය.නදීරා විජේසිංහට සහ ගුණරත්නට වස්සානයේ දීඝවාපිය සිහිනය දැකීමට ඉඩ නොහැර දීඝවාපිය යථාර්තයක් කිරීමට කටයුතු කළ යුතු රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ ආරක්ෂක ලේකම්ගෙන් ත්‍රිවිධ හමුදාවම ගලවා ගැනීමට නොපමාව ක්‍රියා කළ යුතුය.
වික්‍රමසිංහ ගේ කාර්ය මණ්ඩල ප්‍රධානී සාගල රත්නායකට කිරිමට දෙයක් ඉතුරු වී නැති තැනට පත්කළේ ගෝඨාභයට පස්ස දොරෙන් පැනලා දුවන තත්ත්වයට පත්කළ මුන්දැම බව අමතක කළහොත් අසාධාරණයෙන් මිරිකෙන අකීකරු සොල්දාදුවෙකුගේ ගිණි බටේ පත්තුවීමට වැඩි කලක් ගත නොවනු ඇත.
අභිමානවත් හමුදාවක් ඉතිහාසයේ නොවූ විරූ ලෙස කෙටි කාලයක් තුළ පජාත කරදමා යට සාය අස්සේ සිට හමුදාපතිව මෙහෙයවමින් හමුදා නීති රීති රෙගුලාසි තමාට මෙන්ම තමාට හිතවත් ගණිකාවන්ගේ හිතුමනාපයට වෙනස් කරමින් නුසුදුස්සන් මේජර් ජෙනරාල් නිලයට උසස් කළ ලේකම්ගේ කලිසම ඔලුවෙන් ගලවා මල් මල් ගවුමක් ඇන්දවීමට කාලය එලබ ඇත.
පසුගිය දිනක සමාජ මාධ්‍ය කළඹමින් සංසරණයවූ මේජර් ජෙනරාල් හා බ්‍රිගේඩියර් මෙන්ම ඔවුන්ගේ භාර්යාවන්ගේ කෙහෙවලු පටලා ගැනීම මෙයට ආසන්නතම හේතුව ලෙස පෙන්වා දීමට කැමැත්තෙමු.
බාලචන්ද්‍ර කිසිසේත් මේජර් ජෙනරාල් නිලයක් දැරීමට සුදුස්සකු නොවන බැවින් හිටපු හමුදාපතිවරුන් වන මහේෂ් සහ ශවෙන්ද්‍ර ඒ සඳහා ඉඩ නොතබන ලදී.
කමල් ගුණේගේ දුර්වලතා දහසකුත් එකක් අතර කාන්තාවන්ට රිසි බව හොඳින් දන්නා බාලචන්ද්‍ර මේජර් ජෙනරාල් පට්ටමේ බිලී ඇමට තම රූමත් බිරිඳ යොදාගත් අතර සැනින් ඇමකෑ වැලන්ටයින් ගුණේ පසුගිය නිදහස් දිනයේ ඔහු මේජර් ජෙනරාල් තනතුරට උසස් කළේ ලැජ්ජා බයක් හිරිකිතයක් නැති මෙ(හු)ත්තානන්ද හැරුණුකොට අනිකුත් සියලු සමස්ථ යුධ හමුදාවේම අභිමානවත් මේජර් ජෙනරාල්වරුන්ගේ තරු පටි අමු අමුවේම ගලවා දමමිනි.
මෙලෝ සුදුසුකමක් නැති මෙ(හු)ත්තානන්ද කැඩෙට් නිලධාරී පාඨමාලා අංක 31 දුර්වලම කැඩෙට් නිලධාරියාවී යුද බිමේදී ඔහු කෙසේ වෙතත් ඔහුගේ දුර්වල අණින් සෙබලුන් මියයෑම වලක්වා ගනිමට එවකට හිටපු ජේෂ්ඨ නිලධාරීවරුන් දුර බලා ගත් හොඳ තීරණයක් අනුව කිසිම යුද්ධයක් සඳහා භාවිතා නොකරන සේවා බලකායට ඔහුව ඇතුළත් කළේය. හමුදාවේ අවාසනාවට ඔහුගේම කණ්ඩායමේ යුද්ධයේ මහ ඉහළින් කළ සහෝදර බිගෙඩියර් වරුන් කමල් ගුනේට ගැහැනු නොදුන් නිසා ඔවුන් තවදුරටත් බ්‍රිගේඩියර් නිලයේම තබමින් මහේෂ් සහ ශවීන්ද්‍ර කණින් අල්ලා එළියෙන් තියපු මෙ(හු)ත්තානන්ද මේජර් ජෙනරාල් ලෙස උසස්වී හමුදාවේ නම්බුව මහ දවල් සෝදා දමමිනි.
තමාගේම භාර්යාව ඇමට ලසා වැලන්ටයින් ලේකම් බාගත් මෙ(හු)ත්තානන්දගෙන් බේරීමට හමුදාපති විකුම්ටද නොහැක.
හමුදාපති විකුම්ගේ නිර්දේශයකින් තොරව මේජර් ජනරාල් නිලයට උසස් කළ බාලචන්ද්‍ර තම තරු දෙකේ වාහනය ඉස්සර කල බ්‍රිගේඩියර් සුරේෂ් පෙරේරාගේ තනි තරුවේ වාහනය හමුදා නම්බුව පජාත කර දැමූ ගැටුමට මුල්විය.
කමල් ගුනේට බම්බු ගසා කියා මෛත්‍රීගේ මොට්ට කඩුව අතට ගත් විකුම් මේජර් ජෙනරාල් සහ බ්‍රිගේඩියර් වහාම ක්‍රියාත්මක වන පරිදි තනතුරුවලින් ඉවත් කර ඔහුන්ගේ තරු වාහනද ඉවත් කර ඇත.
කෙසේ වෙතත් කූඩැල්ලෙකු මෙන් කමල් ගුනේගෙ වැහැරී ගිය එක් වෘෂණ කෝෂයක් අත් හරින විට අනිත් වුෂණ කෝෂය තදින් මිරිකා සිටිමින් පශ්චාත් භාගය ලෙවකන මේජර් ජනරාල් මෙ(හු)ත්තානන්ද දූෂණ චෝදනා ඔප්පුවී තිබියදී සහ යුද අධිකරණයකින් වැරදිකරුවෙකු කර තිබියදීත් තනතුරුවලින් ඉවත් කිරීමට විකුම්ට ඉඩ නොතැබූ කමල් ගුණයගේ හමුදා නීතිය නැවීම පූජිතගේ පොලිස් නීතිය නීතිය නැවීමට දෙවැනි නොවේ.

නීති රීති අමු අමුවේ උල්ලංඝනය කළ කමල් ගුණේ මෙම ලාන්ස් කෝප්‍රල් වරු දෙදෙනා ගිනි අවිද සමග යොදවා තිබීමෙන් ගම්‍යවන්නේ යුද හමුදාවේ ජෙනරාල් පට්ටමක් ගසාගත් මේ අසමජ්ජාතියා හමුදා නීති රීති පිළිවෙත් නොදන්නවා වෙනුවට දැන දැන සාහසික ක්‍රියාවක්, ඝාතනයක් සැලසුම් කර ක්‍රියාත්මක කළ බව නොවේද
හමුදා පාතාලයේ ඝාතකයන් දෙදෙනා මේ වන විට රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගත කර ඇත. මෙම දෙදෙනා ඇප මත එළියට ආවිට අදෘශ්‍යමාන හස්තයකින් ඝාතනය වීමටද බොහෝ සෙයින් ඉඩහසර ඇත්තේ ගෝඨාභයගේ දාම් බෝඩ් එකේ ඉත්තො කැපිල්ල කලාවක් නම් එහි පිකාසෝ වැලන්ටයින් ගුණේවීමයි.

මන්ද මානසිකත්වයෙන් පෙලෙන මෙම උමතු රෝගියා විසින් සිදුකරන ලද ළමා අපචාර සම්බන්ධව එම ජාත්‍යන්තර පාසලේ දෙමාපියන් විසින් මිරිහාන ළමා හා කාන්තා කාර්යාංශයෙ WCIB11 96/80 යටතේ සිදුකරන ලද පැමිණිල්ලකට අනුව බී වාර්තා අංක B3219/18 යටතේ නුගේගොඩ මහේස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණයට කරුණු දැක්වීමෙන් අනතුරුව එම පරීක්ෂණ යට ගැසීමට මිරිහාන පොලිස් ස්ථානයට අනුයුක්තව සේවය කළ කමල් ගුණේගේ සහෝදරයා වන පොලිස් අධිකාරි අමිත් ගුණරත්න සමත් විය. කෙසේ වෙතත් ජාතික පොලිස් කොමිෂන් සභාව මෙම පරීක්ෂණ යට ගැසීම පිළිබඳව ක්‍රියාත්මක වුනු අතර ඒ සබැඳි ලිපියද මේ සමග ඉදිරිපත් කරන්නෙමු.

මෙහි ප්‍රතිඵලයක් ලෙස බ්‍රිගේඩියර් ප්‍රියංකර ෆර්නෑන්ඩු වැන්නවුන් රට රාජ්‍යවලදී නිර්භීතව ඔසවා තැබූ සිරි ලංකාවේ යුද හමුදා ප්‍රතිරූපය රාජ්‍ය තාන්ත්‍රික මට්ටමෙන්ම ශාක භූම් වනු ඇත.

එවන් අතීතයකට හිමිකම් කියන්නෙකු කෝටි ගණනක මුදල් වැය කරමින් සුවිසල් මන්දිරයක් මහරගම ප්‍රදේශයේ ඉදි කිරීම පිළිබඳව අපරාධ පරීක්ෂණ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ නීති විරෝධී වත්කම් හා විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාශය පරීක්ෂණයක් සිදුකළ යුතුය.
